There is a chance of thunderstorms across portions of the area on Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. Some of these thunderstorms may be strong to severe capable of producing damaging wind gusts.
Thunderstorms will be possible again across parts of the area on Monday night and Tuesday.
Heat index values of 100 to 105 will be possible Saturday through Tuesday evening. The highest values are expected to peak around 105 degrees on Monday and Tuesday.
