The QU women's soccer team reacts following Monday's announcement of their fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament bid.QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -- Earning an NCAA Tournament bid is nothing new for the Quincy University women's soccer team so Monday's announcement was not a big surprise.
But it was a time for celebration at TGI Friday's where the Lady Hawks watched the "Selection Show."
Quincy has advanced to the "Big Dance" for the fourth consecutive season as the third seed and will face Saginaw Valley State on Friday at Northern Kentucky.
As much as they'd like a third chance at NKU, head coach Dave Musso says there's plenty of business to take care of beforehand.
"We'd really like a second chance at Northern Kentucky but we Saginaw Valley has earned the right to be here and they're going to be a very good team," he said. "All week we are going to focus and prepare for them."
