SHELBY COUNTY, Mo. (WGEM) -- An Iowa hunter was found dead Monday morning after being reported missing in Shelby County, Missouri.
Blake J. Kouri, 24, of Lamoni, Iowa, was last seen going into his deer blind at 6 a.m. Sunday.
When he didn't return Sunday night, authorities were alerted and a search began.
At 7:40 Monday morning, a search team found Kouri's body in a creek southeast of Leonard.
An autopsy is planned for next week, but at this time, there is no evidence of criminal activity.
