SALEM, Mo. (AP) - Two children from Salem and a California woman were killed in a two-vehicle crash in south-central Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred Sunday on Missouri 32, about four miles east of Salem in Dent County.
The victims were identified as 6-year-old Johann Hinkernell, 9-year-old Joe Hinkernell, and 60-year-old Wilma Shaffer, of Bangor, Calif.
The crash occurred when the car Shaffer was driving with the children as passengers collided with a pickup at an intersection.
