Holiday shoppers express shopping frustrations

(NBC NEWS) -- It's not even Thanksgiving, but 'tis the season to shop; And to get plenty annoyed with the holiday hassles we all know too well.

Tod Marks, Senior Editor of Consumer Reports Magazine said, "There are a lot of things that do tick people off."

The folks at Consumer Reports put together a survey showing what annoys us most.

The biggest pain of all? Nearly three quarters say stores that don't open all their checkout lanes.

Shopper Katy McEligott said, "Half the time I find things I want and them I'm too impatient to wait in the checkout line."

"Every store is just clogged," said shopper Bill Shelley.

Sixty-two percent can't stand those endless warranty pitches.

You know why store love them?

"They can often time make more money selling warranties instead of actual product," said Marks.

And we've all seen this one: "What is your phone number?"

How about those great deals, that exclude just about everything in the store?

What about Black Friday? Try Bait-And-Switch Friday.

"Unless your prepared to line up at two-o'clock in the morning to get a crack at that $250 computer along with hundreds of other people, be prepared for disappointment or be prepared for the up sell," said Marks.

But at the end of the day, Consumer Reports say customers have the ultimate power.

If you can't find a deal. Take a hike.
