ADDISON, Ill. (AP) - Four bodies have been found in a home in the Chicago suburb of Addison.
Authorities haven't given the cause of death. However, Addison Police Chief Tim Hayden said Wednesday shell casings were found near the bodies. He adds the victims are likely the family that lived at the residence.
The victims won't be officially identified until the DuPage County coroner completes autopsies on Thursday.
Police spokeswoman Officer Megan Freeman says a preliminary investigation indicates the deaths were not the result of a random act of violence.
Police say investigators responded to a 911 call from a woman. A woman was found dead inside the home.
Hayden says the home's doors and windows were locked, forcing officers to break in. The family's vehicles were parked in the driveway.
