WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) - Police in Waterloo are investigating the city's second rash of window vandalism in as many weeks.
Officers began receiving reports of broken vehicle windows Wednesday morning, and at least 17 cars, trucks and vans were damaged during the day.
Areas where vandalism was reported include Sunnyside Avenue, West Third Street, Minnesota Street, Moir Street, Reber Avenue, Wildwood Road, Norfolk Road, Vine Street, Evergreen Avenue, Hanna Boulevard and Leland Avenue.
Police say the damage appears to have been made with a BB or pellet gun.
On Nov. 21, about 20 residents reported damage to vehicle windows and two house windows.
