ST. LOUIS (AP) - Richie Incognito returned to the St. Louis Rams' offensive line with his attitude intact.
Coach Steve Spagnuolo said the feisty guard's play was solid and very aggressive in Sunday's 17-9 loss at Chicago. Incognito missed four games plus the bye week with a ligament injury to his right foot.
He missed the last few minutes of the first half Sunday with a neck stinger but returned after the break to give what the coach referred to as a physical presence. Incognito expressed frustration on the sideline during yet another loss for the 1-11 team, but Spagnuolo preferred to call it a sign of his competitive nature.
Incognito was a contributor to a running attack that was again the Rams' strength, with Steven Jackson gaining 112 yards despite missing another week of practice due to back spasms.
