QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -- Flying in and out of Quincy Regional Airport is about to get a lot easier.
Cape Air officially enters into a code share agreement with American Airlines on April 6, but you can book your flights online at aa.com right now.
Quincy Regional Airport Manager Marty Stegeman tells WGEM News that the code share agreement gives Quincy passengers a seamless connection out of St. Louis to their final destination anywhere in the world.
Passengers will get their complete itinerary in the first check-in and will only have to check in their baggage one time.
Another added benefit: frequent flyer miles are now recognized for travel to and from Quincy.
Stegeman says Cape Air has already broke the 500 passenger mark for the month of March.
The airline offers six weekday flights to St. Louis and three on Saturday and Sunday.
