MT. STERLING, Ill. (WGEM) -- The murder of a Mt. Sterling woman in 2007 remains unsolved, but in an effort to bring more attention to the case, a reward is now being offered to find the killer.
Kathy Blentlinger, 34, died in a house fire in the early morning hours of Nov. 10, 2007.
Eight months later, a coroner's jury ruled her death a homicide as accelerant was used to burn down the home.
But so far, no suspects have been charged.
Now, a $2,500 reward is being offered by the attorney's office of Jesse Gilsdorf for new information leading to the arrest and conviction of the murderer.
