QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -- The Quincy teen who set fire to three school buses at Flinn Stadium will serve time in jail for his crime.
Eighteen-year-old Zachary Wheeler, a former Quincy High student, was sentenced to serve 26 days in jail, four years probation and ordered to pay $150,000 in restitution.
Wheeler was charged with criminal damage to property and arson shortly after the incident on Feb. 26, when police say an accelerant was used to set several buses on fire.
Wheeler was also expelled from Quincy High School after his arrest.
