Quincy man arrested for stealing from Harris Corporation

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -- a Quincy man is behind bars, charged with theft of more than $10,000 from a local communications company.

47-year-old William J. Benge was arrested Thursday night by the Adams County Sheriffs Department in connection with items stolen from Harris Corporation.

Benge is charged with theft, burglary, and possession of stolen property

The investigation is ongoing, and officials say more arrests are pending.

In September Benge was arrested for his involvement in an unrelated scrap metal theft.
