Here are your nominees from Nov. 30 - Dec. 6...
Carter Wear (Illini West) -- Not too shabby of a week for the junior. Went for 26 points in a win over Mercer County and had 26 earlier in the week against Unity. In the lone loss of the week against a very good Havana squad, she finished with 29.
Brooke Vonholt (Central) -- A consistent week for the junior helped lead the Lady Panthers to a 3-0 week and remain undefeated at 5-0. Won at Beardstown (12 points), at Liberty (10), and then at home against Rushville-Industry (7).
Ashton Luttrull (Highland) -- The Lady Cougars are off to a 2-0 start due in large part to the freshman. Scored 19 points in win at Liberty and added 18 points in an earlier-week win at Hannibal.
Marley Hall (West Hancock) -- The senior recorded career point No. 2,000 in a win at Clark County on Friday. Also added 25 earlier in the week in a win over West Central.
Tori Niemann (Canton) -- Opened the season with a bang by going for 28 points and 15 boards in a win at Monroe City. Finished the week the same way with 28 points against Palmyra.
Zach Forbes (QHS) -- Blue Devil senior led the team to a perfect weekend and nice start in the Western Big Six. Finished with 24 points against Galesburg, and then went for 21 points in win over Batavia.
Colt Carper (Canton) -- The Tigers are off to a 2-0 start and Carper has not disappointed anybody. Finished with 17 points in win at Palmyra and also had 22 points against Monroe City.
Brook Schofield (QHS) -- Finished third in boys diving at the Springfield Invite.
