MENDON, Ill. (WGEM) -- Students at Mendon Elementary School had their teachers seeing double today.
That's because it was "twins day" at Mendon.
Students who donated money to the American Red Cross got to look like the same person.
Mendon principal Teri Fessler says it's all part of a whole week of spring break themed festivities.
They've had hats and sunglasses day, green on St. Patrick's Day and twins day today.
Fessler says there's more in store for tommorow.
"Tomorrow's going to be shorts and flip-flops," Teri Fessler, Mendon Elementary Principal, said. "So we're having a little Spring Break theme, and to participate, we ask that you donate any amount of money to our local chapter of the American Red Cross."
Donation money is due tomorrow, so Fessler doesn't know how much her students have raised yet.
Let's just hope it's warm enough to wear flip-flops.
