Clark County eyes it's 26th consecutive win in Wednesday's playoff opener versus Mark Twain. The most impressive part was how the Indians won.
The spread-happy squad went undercenter for mostly the entire game and the Indians proved they can knock off a playoff-bound opponent under less than ideal conditions.
The result was an 8-6 victory and a shot at hosting their opening round playoff game on Wednesday, head coach Matt Smith said it's just another example of his team's strive for excellence.
"I never sit down with a group of kids and say you've got to win an 'X' amount of games for this season to be successful," he said.
"We just try to go out and win the one that's in front of us, and these kids have done that just like several other groups that we've had. I think they've got better and better each week and we continue to go out and expect to wn on Friday night, and in this case Wednesday night, and prepare to do that."

Senior Neal Moon said they had a heavy burden of expectations heading into the current campaign.
"It's just one of those things we wanted to come out and prove ourselves, not just as seniors but the whole team did I think, we wanted to work hard and just get stuff done."
The Indians win sets up a dynamite first round playoff matchup in two nights.
Mark Twain heads to Kahoka to start the post-season with kickoff is set for 7pm.
