ST. LOUIS (AP) - The St. Louis Rams have re-signed tight end Daniel Fells, who caught three touchdown passes in 2009.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Fells was signed off of Tampa Bay's practice squad in October 2008 and emerged as a surprisingly effective second tight end for St. Louis. He played in 14 games with four starts in 2009 before missing the final two games with a knee injury.
Fells had 21 catches for 273 yards. 2 of his touchdown catches came in a game against Green Bay.
