Are cash strapped schools selling out to stay afloat?

(NBC NEWSCHANNEL)  Strapped high schools, looking to bring in a little extra cash, are looking at web ads to help them meet their budgets.

School districts in Virginia and Arizona already run ads on their official sites, while South Dakota, Wisconsin and California officials are all planning to place such ads soon.

A spokesman for the American Association of School Administrators says districts are desperately looking for any revenue stream they can find.

But media watchdogs say systems have to be careful about the image that they're projecting.
