Open casting call Friday for movie to be shot in Quincy


QUINCY (WGEM) -- Quincy has been chosen as the location for the shooting of an upcoming film and local actors are wanted.

There will be an open casting call held today (Friday, May 7) at the Microtel Inn & Suites conference room from 10am-1pm.

Independent film company, Struber Productions, chose Quincy to film its upcoming movie, "FANG", June 18-21, 2010 in various downtown Quincy locations.

"FANG" highlights the clash of ancient cultures when an ages old vampiric clan's fortune dwindles and they seek to take control of an East Coast powerhouse.  Nothing is as it seems as Michael Venzetti, heir-apparent to the powerhouse business, must fight the battle of his life as all sides close in.

Participants are required to bring a headshot and bio/resume to the casting call.

Role being cast are:

  • male speaking role age 40-60 muscular/fit build
  • male bouncer speaking role age 20-30 large build
  • male shop keeper age 60-70
  • male age 40's slight of build mild business man
  • females age 20-30 small speaking roles
  • 2 males age 6-8 must be able to appear younger
  • male and female extras for rave club scenes age 20's
