Hannibal police make meth arrest while investigating house fire


HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) -- Hannibal Police make an unexpected arrest during a house fire investigation.

Officers were investigating a recent house fire in the 900 block of Park Avenue when they received information about a man trying to make meth.

Police went to a house a block down the street and say they found George Truman Lamberson in the process of putting a meth lab together.

Lamberson was taken to the Marion County Jail. He is charged with manufacturing a controlled substance.
