QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -- Book lovers can rest easy now that there is a bookstore back in the Quincy Mall.
The grand opening of the Quincy Bookstore took place Monday. Cowley Distributing News Group out of Jefferson City took over the space and inventory of the former Waldenbooks store, after it closed with the bankruptcy of its parent company Borders.
For those of you who like to listen to your books, Quincy Bookstore is offering something the previous store did not, audio books.
Quincy Bookstore managers say their first day of business has been very busy.
