
QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -- A formal complaint has been filed against a Quincy attorney, accusing him of taking nearly $200,000 from clients' accounts for personal and business use.
John Devin Cashman, 52, was named in the Dec. 6 complaint to the Illinois Attorney Registration and Discipline Commission.
The complaint also alleges he didn't show up at a hearing concerning the allegations of improper use of the clients' funds.
Cashman has until Jan. 3 to respond.
The ARDC says punishment ranges from sanctions to disbarment.
