QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM)--Solving the case of lost pets just got a little easier.
The story of a missing daschund led to a new facebook page to help find lost pets in Adams County.
The Quincy Humane Society and Paw Pals teamed up to create "Lost and Found pets of Adams County".
A daschund named Tiger got lost in Quincy over the holidays and his family had to go back home to Minnesota.
But Tiger was found ten days later through the help of Facebook posts.
Now the page is a resource for anyone with lost pets.
"We're noticing that many pets are running away or missing or getting stolen, and we didn't realize how many before we started this page," said Lindsey Klobe with the Quincy Humane society.
The Humane Society says the page has been successful.
Nearly every animal posted missing on the facebook page has been found within a matter of days.
