QUINCY, IL (WGEM)-- Parents, if you're hoping to enjoy a romantic night out this Valentine's weekend, but can't find a babysitter, you might try the Y.

From 6 p.m.-10 p.m. Friday, the Quincy YMCA will host an evening of fun for children ages 4-12. Kids can enjoy the Kids Fit Zone, movies, popcorn bar, and fun games giving you a chance for some one on one time.

"Great staff that interact with the kids. And I know me being a parent of three it's kind of one of those, where is somebody would just throw something like this out there I would just engulf it. I love it. So I think that as far as the Y goes, we have everything right here and why not," said Amanda Stotts, marketing director for the Quincy YMCA.

To register your kids, call the Quincy Y. Space is limited to 40 children. Cost is $20 per child for Y members and $25 for non-members. Each additional child is $5.

"We're guaranteeing a fun night for the kids. We'll have movies, they need to bring a pillow and blanket to do that. We'll have some interactive games in our Kids Fit Zone as well as a fun pop corn bar so they'll have lots of fun," said Stotts.
