QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -- Quincy University pre-law students will soon get experience in a court-room, before even graduating college.
The Adams County Bar Association donated $1,500 to QU's pre-law program. The donation will help fund the new learning center and pre-law scholarship.
Students in the program also have access to QU's new mock trial room.
"With a beautiful facility like this those students will have an edge, will have an advantage as they get ready to go into law school so we want to do all we can to promote that because it is in everyone's interest to have the best possible trained attorneys that we can," said Lonnie Dunn, president of the Adams County Bar Association.
The newly built mock trial room will be used for the first time next semester.
