Below is a list of the nominees for The Honda/Hyundai's Jason Deters & WGEM SportsCenter Prep Athlete of the Week. The fan vote counts as one vote in the total vote process ... with 10 sports broadcasters/writers submitting ballots as well. The winner will be announced Monday morning at 7:35 on WGEM SportsCenter, ESPN 1440 AM or WGEM.com/sports.

Feb. 13 - Feb. 19

Megan Brennan (Clark County) -- What a week for the senior. In two wins, she collected two triple-doubles. Against Highland she went for 18 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists. Later in the week in a win over Brookfield, her line read 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.

DeAngelo Dean (QHS) -- In what could be a WB6-saving game, the Blue Devils will play for a share of the title on Friday following last week's win over Alleman. Dean went for 27 points and nine boards to keep the opportunity open.

Tim Fisher (South Shelby) -- Two more wins means still undefeated in the CCC with Fisher going for 31 points against Macon then 13 later in the week in another win over Mark Twain.

Chandler Fohey (Hannibal) -- In the championship match of the 106-pound championship match of the Class 3 state tourney, the freshman was pinned nearly three minutes in to finish the season 38-15.

Kristen Gengenbacher (QND) -- The sophomore had games of 17 and 11 points respectfully to help lead the Lady Raiders to a Class 2A sectional title.

Jordan Obert (Liberty) -- Scoring seemed easy this week as the senior went for 31 points against North Greene, then added 21 -- 16 in the second half -- later in the week in a win over Pittsfield.

Coltyn Pease (Pittsfield) -- The heavyweight came up a tad short on Saturday, finishing second in the Class 1A state wrestling championship, falling 5-1 in the 285-pound class. It was only his second defeat of the season -- both coming to the same wrestler.
