QUINCY, IL (WGEM) -- A Quincy man is in jail following a meth arrest.
Quincy Police say Kenneth Cowser was pulled over on the 1100 block of Jersey at 11:47 PM on May 17, 2012 for having suspended license plates and for driving on a suspended license.
Cowser's vehicle was searched before being impounded. During a search of Cowser's vehicle officers say meth, meth manufacturing materials, and drug paraphernalia were found in the car. Cowser was also charged with suspected driving under the influence of methamphetamine.
Cowser was lodged in the Adams County Jail, and will make an initial court appearance on May 18, 2012.
