FT. MADISON, IA (WGEM) -- A Ft. Madison man has been arrested on felony drug charges.
According the Lee County Narcotics Task Force, 25-year-old Bradley Glen Traman was arrested Thursday at his home on 23rd Street. This arrest stems from an investigation into the whereabouts of a federal fugitive that led authorities to Traman's house. While looking for the fugitive, authorities reportedly found items used in the "shake and bake" method of manufacturing meth.
Agents say Traman's 3-year-old son was located in the residence. He was removed and turned over to a family member by the Department of Human Services.
With this being Traman's second or subsequent offense as well as having a minor in the house and the distance to a school, authorities say Traman faces up to 130 years in a state correctional facility.
