About Money Saving Queen

Money Saving Queen, Sarah Roe,  is a wife and mother of two beautiful little boys.  She began seriously couponing when her oldest son was diagnosed with life-threatening food allergies seven years ago.

Sarah and her husband were spending $600-$800 a month just to feed her son and pay the medical bills that were piling up. Financially, they could not do it anymore. Sarah then turned to frugal living and couponing.

Sarah grew up in a frugal family, learning the ins and outs of saving money and making extra cash from her father. Born in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, her father worked for Ford and dealt with layoffs throughout his career. Sarah's family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1983 and her dad used creative ways of saving money like coupons, flea markets and garage sales to make the family dollar stretch even further. Living frugally was in her blood.

In 2006, Sarah stumbled upon a book at the library that would her money saving abilities to the next level.

Sarah has since mastered the technique of grocery savings and now teaches that strategy to thousands of people every year. She also created MoneySavingQueen.com which features coupons, daily deals and frugal living tips and recipes.  She has released a book titled, "The Power of Coupons: 13 Ways to Save".

Sarah Roe is an award winning blogger, public speaker and television personality. Her sold out events cover topics like Couponing, Blogging, DIY Frugal Living and Money Saving Tips & Tricks. Sarah is also an inspirational speaker, sharing her story to encourage others dealing with tough times in this economy.
