A Quincy man is in jail, arrested on several charges. According to the Adam's County Sheriff's Office, 21 year old Alex Hinds was arrested Friday night after cannabis and drug paraphernalia were found at his residence.
Deputies and Illinois State Police officers responded to a disturbance call around 6:30 Friday night on the 15-hundred block of Zellerman Avenue.
Hinds allegedly ran away from law enforcement and was later found in a brush pile.
Hinds is charged with aggravated battery, possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia and several other charges.
He's lodged in the Adams County Jail.
