A fourth inmate that escaped late Saturday from the Pike County Jail in Bowling Green is now back in custody.
Pike County Sheriff Stephen Korte reports that Joseph A. Verive, 49, of Elsberry, Mo., was taken back into custody when officers located him on Pike 411, less than 1 mile from Highway 161.
The search continues for William John Thomas Wilkerson Jr, 40 of Florissant.
Three of the escaped inmates are in custody in Oklahoma. Jacob A Darnell 22, Jason A Darnell 25 and Emanuel G. Chatman 27 all of Louisiana, MO were taken into custody around 2:00am Monday morning in Midwest City, OK.
A complaint was called into the local police that the three were asking for money near a convenience store. They were found in a 2003 black Chevy pickup. A police K9 located a meth pipe on one of the three.
Any one seeing these men or having knowledge of their whereabouts should call their nearest law enforcement agency or the Pike County Sheriff's Office at 573-324-3202.
Pike County Sheriff Stephen Korte said the inmates escaped through the shower area. Police say the inmates were able to remove a tamper resistant stainless steel shower head/controller and gain access to a service area to exit the facility. The Sheriff's Office say the shower area was inspected on Friday with no damage detected at that time.
