Man arrested after fatal ATV accident in Adams County

CLAYTON, Ill. (WGEM) -

One woman is dead and a man is behind bars after a fatal ATV accident in rural Adams County early Friday morning.

The Adams County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened just after midnight in rural Clayton.

Authorities say the passenger, 25-year-old Sarah Birsic, died from her injuries.

The ATV driver, 30-year-old Andrew Koster, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, was arrested for aggravated DUI.
