The Quincy-based company Air USA will be expanding to Albuquerque, NM in the near future, according to Quincy Regional Airport Director Jeff Steinkamp.
Steinkamp says that normal operations will continue at the airport in Quincy, and there are no plans to close the facility. The facility in New Mexico will handle business west of the Mississippi River with the Quincy location operating business on the east side of the river.
Air USA is a U.S. Government contractor that specializes in aircraft combat training.
The Quincy location employees 15-20 people, and Steinkamp said the company will continue to house around eight aircraft.
