A warrant investigation led to two arrests Wednesday, Sept. 19 at a residence in the 2200 block of N. 12th Street in Quincy.
Officers from the Adams County Sheriff's Department and West Central Illinois Drug Task Force were looking for Joseph W. Baker, 32, who was wanted on two outstanding warrants for FTA unlawful delivery of methamphetamine and aggravated participation in methamphetamine production.
During the investigation, evidence of suspected meth use and manufacturing was found in the residence, and Baker was arrested for a new aggravated participation in methamphetamine production.
Ashlee A. Reed, 24, of Quincy, was also arrested and charged with aggravated participation in methamphetamine production in addition to a previous traffic warrant.
Both were lodged in the Adams County Jail without bond.
