The Quincy Museum hosted its 17th Annual Folk Life Festival Saturday.
Visitors of all ages were sure to find something to peak their interest. The museum gave everyone a chance to experience the crafts and lifestyles of yesterday with a variety of demonstrations, exhibits, food and games.
One volunteer says this is a great event for not only the museum but also for all the visitors.
"It's good PR as we say, public relations. And it's good for the community and those who come to these things and it's a nice thing for the young people, the little kids and so on," said John Spangler, a museum volunteer.
Admission to this annual festival was only $1, which also allowed visitors a chance to check out the museum.
