Quincy citywide clean up helps residents with unwanted items

A record of number of people showed up to Saturday's citywide cleanup in Quincy.

The annual event gives residents a chance to throw away unwanted items that are not typically collected during the city's weekly trash service.

Officials with Allied Waste say they disposed of more than 400 tons of waste, including everything from mattresses to boats.
