MONTICELLO, Iowa (AP) -- Motorists traveling U.S. Highway 151 in east-central Iowa are being warned about cattle that escaped after an accident in the Monticello area.
Monticello Police Chief Britt Smith says the accident occurred about 12:15 a.m. Monday just north of mile marker 63. He says a semitrailer hauling cattle crashed in the northbound lanes, allowing some of the animals to escape.
