Some Missouri voters have already cast their ballot for the November elections.
Marion County Clerk Valerie Dornberger said about a dozen people have already voted by filling out an absentee ballot. Because this is a presidential election year, she says the amount of people who vote at the polls or by a ballot increase dramatically in Marion County.
"The last presidential election we had a 72% turnout. A normal election runs a 25 to 30% turnout, so it's more than twice what we normally get," Dornberger said.
Missourians have until October 10th to register to vote in this year's election.
