It's time for an update at Leon Bailey Park, says executive director Ed Seger. Tonight he and other Quincy Park District representatives met with neighbors around 7th and Elm.
Seger says there are two potential plans for the park. The first would have several different play pieces around the park. The second would be a more centralized playground. Tonight Seger and other representatives told neighbors about those two options. They also handed out a survey for everyone to vote on which idea they preferred.
"Once we find out which kind they want, we'll come back with specific examples for them to help pick the exact components or system that goes into the park," says Seger.
Seger says funding for this park project comes from next year's general obligation bond - or an amount set aside for park improvement.
