Early Childhood Center has Grand Opening

The Early Childhood Center in Hannibal was filled with parents and children today for the official grand opening.

Parents were greeted by a children's musician out of Chicago for the special occasion.

Diane Addison says this is the first time a building holds all early childhood programs, which is essential for the kids.

"Well it makes for continuity of care, which I think is so very important. All children can receive the services, all the services are the same and it's available to everyone," said Addison.

A bond issue that received 80-percent approval helped build the early childhood center.
