Oct. 2 Honor Flight - Veterans and Itinerary

Over 30 veterans from the Korean War and World War II take off Tuesday in the fifteenth mission of the Great River Honor Flight.

The veterans will travel to St. Louis, fly to Baltimore and then travel by bus to Washington, D.C. Along the scheduled stops include a visit to the Korean War memorial and World War II memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, and Iwo Jima memorial.

The trip ends as the group arrives to a hero's welcome at the Hannibal Quality Inn & Suites. You're invited to welcome the veterans home when they're scheduled to arrive around 11 p.m.

6:25 am        Southwest Airlines Flight 395 departs STL

Following times are Eastern

9:20 am        Flight arrives at Baltimore

9:45 am        Board bus for trip to Washington and Korean War Memorial

10:55 am      Arrive at Korean Memorial, Lincoln, Vietnam Memorials.

12:30 pm      Depart Korean Memorial for WWII Memorial.

12:45 pm      Arrive at World War II Memorial.

1:45 pm        Tour of Washington DC

2:30 pm        Arrive at Iwo Jima Memorial

3:00 pm        Depart for Arlington National Cemetery

3:15 pm        Arrive at Arlington National Cemetery

4:30 pm        Depart Arlington for return trip to Baltimore.

6:00 pm        Arrive at Baltimore Airport.

7:25 pm        Southwest Airlines Flight 2520 departs Baltimore

8:30 pm        Flight arrives at STL airport/ Board bus for Hannibal

11:00 pm      Estimated time of arrival at Quality Inn and Suites - Upon our departure from St. Louis, we will have a better feel for what time we will be arriving in Hannibal for those picking vets and guardians up.
