Lane restrictions begin Wednesday at 61/Ave. G intersection at Fort Madison

FORT MADISON, Ia. (WGEM) -

Construction at the intersection of Business U.S. 61 and Avenue G in Fort Madison will make things a little tighter for drivers beginning Wednesday.

Lane restrictions begin Wednesday as crews will begin a concrete replacement at the intersection. Open lanes will have a 12-foot width restriction in place.

Construction is expected to be completed by mid-November.
