The Hannibal High School History Club is looking to bring more history to America's Hometown.
Today the club partnered with McDonalds AND 20% of food sold between 4-8pm WILL HELP bring a traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall to the HANNIBAL and help students who are traveling to the East Coast in the summer of 2013.
Missy Barrie who supports the History club says this is a great way to add to an already historic city.
"I just think our slogan for so long has been America's Hometown, that I think it's nice whenever we can connect such a big part of our American History to America's Hometown and just giving people the opportunity to appreciate what so many veterans have sacrificed," said Barrie.
The Vietnam Memorial costs $6,000.
The history club already has $1,500 saved and hope to make another $600 or $700 from the fundraiser.
