Are you looking for a part time job around the holidays? Try ringing a bell!
The Quincy Salvation Army is currently hiring 10 bell ringers for the upcoming Red Kettle Campaign during the holiday season.
This year they hope to raise $100,000. And to do that, officials say they need more people to man the kettles.
"It's a temporary job and provides some extra income just before the holidays and often times we look for the folks who might even be our clients to come in and are people who are unemployed and are just looking for some extra holiday income," Major Dan Jennings with the Salvation Army said.
Applicants must be available from the "First Day of Kettles" on November 16 through December 24, in order to be considered.
If you'd like to apply, go to the Welcome Desk at the Kroc Center in Quincy.
