Blessing Cancer Center hosts Community Breast Cancer Awareness Day

The Blessing Cancer Center hosted its tenth annual Community Breast Cancer Awareness Day Tuesday.

The event is for people of all stages and involvement in the breast cancer community.

The event aimed to not only raise awareness for breast cancer, but to bring together people in the breast cancer community.

Officials with the event say bringing breast cancer patients together actually helps women to cope with the disease.

"It's important it's so heart warming. It's going to influence people in the future too, to know that there is a lot of hope and there is life after cancer."
