The best local bands marched in the Hannibal Band Days Parade Tuesday afternoon.
28 Middle School and High School bands marched down Broadway as hundreds of people gathered along the street to watch.
This is the 64th year of the event, and because it's been in the community so long, residents say it's a part of Hannibal.
"It brings in a lot of different people to the community to let the Hannibal people show they're support because it's a good place to have them all and big enough and I think it's a nice place to come," said Hannibal Resident Barbara Kendall.
She said she doesn't often come to these events because of the weather, but she and her husband decided to because it was such a nice day.
After the March, the band ended at Hannibal High School's football stadium where some schools continued to perform.
