QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

A Quincy man faces up to seven years in prison after being convicted of aggravated home repair fraud.

Michael Rupert, 41, was arrested last November after taking money for a job he never completed.

Authorities say Rupert entered a contract with an elderly couple to repair their porch, took a $2,000 down payment and never returned.

His sentencing is set for Nov. 27.
