QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -- Jamie Ehrhart has been there before.
As a four-time state qualifier in golf the Quincy Notre Dame senior knows what to expect.
Now she will try and help lead the Lady Raiders to a state title.
QND is expected to contend for the top prize during Friday's start to the Class A state tournament at Red Tail Run Golf Course in Decatur.
Ehrhart, along with Lucy Clark, could be in the running for an individual title and Ehrhart can't wait for the chance to prove her skills once again against Illinois' best.
"You can't get too far ahead of yourself and you've got to stay in the moment," she said.
"You can't think about the past or the future either, you just have to stay shot by shot. Being able to go to the state tournament four years in a row is really a dream come true. When I was in grade school it was something I thought I'd be able to do. Being able to do it is really wonderful."
On the flip side, the QND boys did not get out of sectionals as a team but Drew Eaton's 79 on Monday was good enough for the freshman to take his first crack at a Class 2A state title.
Eaton knows he's got three more years to chase a championship, however that won't stop him from trying to accomplish the feat in his first opportunity.
"I just try to keep mentally strong all round. You can't take holes off even if you make double bogeys," Eaton told WGEM Sports.
"I made two (double bogeys) at sectionals and you've just got to keep playing because you don't know if one stroke can make the difference. I've got to keep believing in myself and keep playing the way I have been and good things will happen."
Eaton gets his chance starting Friday morning on none other than the course in the namesake of a QND alum, the Weibring Golf Course at Illinois State.
