The Quincy Lowe's location hosted a fundraising event for the Blessing Breast Center Saturday.
Representatives from the Quincy Fire Department and Police Departments, EMS, all branches of the Armed Forces and Air Evac had booths set up.
The Quincy Art Center did free projects for children.
Gift bags for every donation were given out, with over 30 certificates and prizes from over 30 Quincy area businesses.
Organizers also collected coats and food.
Lowe's department manager Diane Hillebrenner said the breast cancer cause touches close to home at Lowe's because an employee was recently diagnosed with the cancer.
"It's amazing how many employees either they themselves have had it or they have a very good friend or family member that has been touched by it." said Hillebrenner.
