Hannibal Jaycees open new haunted house

For the first time, the Hannibal Jaycees hosted ITS annual haunted house in a new location.

People were able to wait inside the shed as opposed to having to wait outside.  The Jaycees say the haunted house has steadily grown each and every year.  The best part of this new building is the volunteers can leave the decorations up all year long.

"Less chaotic. It's a lot easier on us and we don't have to put up with the weather as much and that's the biggest advantage. And the biggest advantage of all is being in downtown Hannibal like we wanted and to be at a location that we're not going to have to tear down," said Haunted House Committee Co-Chairman Jake Hull.

The haunted house costs $10 to get into the haunted house and is open every weekend until the end of October.  No one under 5 is allowed inside.
