Second annual "Kicks For A Cure" raised money for cancer awareness

As October winds down, so does Breast Cancer awareness month.

Legacy Martial Arts in Quincy did their part today to raise money for cancer awareness.

The group held their 2nd annual "Kick's for the cure" Saturday morning.

Around 50 people turned out today, to try their hands or feet at breaking a board.

One 8-year old girl with the group cut off nearly a foot of her hair for the cause.

"I decided to grow my hair out because I wanted to help people with chemotherapy that lost all their hair," said Aryanna Sade.

All of Aryanna's hair will go to "Locks of Love."

Officials with Legacy Martial Arts said they brought in upwards of $2,000 for the American Cancer Society.
